Classes & Programs

The Winfield Fire Protection District provides fire prevention and education programs to the general public continuously throughout the year. These programs consist of yearly fire prevention presentations given to all elementary schools, as well as other classes given to individual grades when requested.

Programs offered by the fire department are:

• CPR training classes
• Fire extinguisher classes
• General safety programs
• Child seat safety check
• Fire inspection program
• Juvenile firesetter program
• Fire station tours
• Block party/community events
• Open House
